1 The Contract between the customer and Seafield House Interiors

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you ordered before your order can be processed and shipped. Once your payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide on your website order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between you, the customer, and Seafield House Interiors.

2 Ownership of Rights

All rights, including copyright, and imagery in this website are owned by or licensed to Seafield House Interiors. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute, or repost anything on this website for any purpose. Some images on the website belong to our customers and have been included with the permission of the image owner.

3 Accuracy of Content

We have taken care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been fairly described. Any weights, dimensions and specifications given about the goods are approximate only.

Colours displayed on our product photographs can differ on mobile, laptop and PC screens.

4 Making a Purchase and Availability

Making an online purchase at Seafield House Interiors is secure and available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Simply browse our online shop and add any items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket after confirming the quantity.

When you have finished your shopping, just click on “checkout” and fill out the few details needed to complete your order.

Please ensure that all fields marked with an asterisk * are completed, otherwise you will be unable to complete the checkout.

Goods ordered on ‘pre-order’ will be allocated to you as soon as they arrive in stock. Expected delivery date on these items is approximate and we are largely governed by suppliers timescales on these items. We aim to deliver pre-order items within 3-4 days of these items arriving in our warehouse. This does not affect your statutory rights and you are able to cancel items on pre-order at anytime before they are shipped. Once shipped you will receive an email to confirm delivery arrangements.

5 Acknowledgement and Processing of your order

You will need to provide us with your e-mail address and we will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and e-mail you again to confirm details. An acceptance of your order will take place on dispatch of the good(s) ordered.

6 Promotions

All promotional codes remain the property of Seafield House Interiors and we reserve the right to stop or remove a promotion at any time without prior warning.

6 Mistakes when Ordering

If you make an error when ordering, please do not hesitate to contact us straight away. We will always endeavour to rectify your ordering mistake and make changes before your order is sent out to you. However, once your order has been sent to the warehouse to be packed it is unlikely that we will be able to make changes.

7 Product Pricing and Descriptions

We aim to ensure that all the details, prices and descriptions of products on our website are accurate when they are entered onto our website. However, there may be rare occasions when the information on the website may not precisely reflect the position exactly at the point an order is placed.

We do not give any warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information and cannot be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information. We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going live.

Description and product information on our website are solely to provide an idea of the goods they describe and do not form part of the contract between you and us and are not intended to be binding.

The prices payable for goods that you order on our website are in pounds sterling. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering information. Prices on our website include delivery to mainland UK. If you are out of our ‘free delivery zone’, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will let you know if delivery to your location is possible and what the cost will be.

8 Payment Terms

Payments are processed either via PayPal or our payment processing merchant StripeUK. All card information is encrypted using the latest secure technology and passed directly to StripeUK for authorization. No credit or debit card information is stored on the Seafield House Interiors server at any time.

If you choose to pay via bank transfer, please add all the items to your basket, checkout and chose ‘bank transfer’ as a payment option.

You must then use your order number as a reference on your bank transfer. Bank transfers must be made within 24 years of placing the order on the website.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you ordered before your order can be processed and shipped.

We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account then we can cancel the contract and or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.

9 Delivery Charges

Prices on our website include delivery to mainland UK.

If you are out of our ‘free delivery zone’, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will let you know if delivery to your location is possible and what the cost will be; this will be dependent on size, fragility and your delivery location.

a. We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. Please ensure the address and postcode is correct at the time of ordering. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery on your order confirmation email, however, delivery times are not guaranteed and dependent on our courier service. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient alternative time.

b. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

c. Before placing an order, please measure carefully to ensure that your furniture will fit into the room it’s intended for and that it will also fit through any passages, access gates, stairwells, landings and internal doors. Seafield House Interiors cannot be held accountable for furniture that doesn’t fit. Should it not fit and has to be returned to us we will charge return costs to the value we paid our courier for your delivery. Please note, this will not be the same day as our drivers are booked on specific routes and will need to be allocated a new job.

d. Prior to your delivery, please ensure the route is clear and free from obstructions such as ornaments and also ensure access to the property is clear for our couriers.

10 Risk and Ownership

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you, or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time, the time when we tried to deliver. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered to you. Goods supplied are not for resale.

11 Cancellation Rights and Returns

We hope that you will be delighted with your order, however, there may be an occasion where you need an exchange or a refund.

a. If you are a UK/EU consumer, you have the legal right, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel your order within fourteen days following your receipt of the goods or the date on which we began provision of the services.

Seafield House Interiors is a UK company which upholds The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.

We are confident that you will love your order as much as we do, however, if you wish to return an item, please follow the instructions below:

b. Damaged or faulty items

If your item is damaged or faulty:

i. contact us by email at info@seafieldhouseinteriors.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order. You must email requesting to return an item/s, you will be sent a returns approval code and return instructions. Please note, some orders will need to be returned directly to suppliers so please do not send them until you receive approval and instructions of where to return the item/s

ii. if your item is damaged or faulty, we will require photos of the damage to be emailed to us with 3 days of receiving the item. Please inspect your items as soon as they are delivered.

iii. you will be sent ‘free returns’ instructions. You will need to return the damaged item to us so please do not dispose of damaged or faulty items or their packaging unless advised to do so by us.

iv. please look after your damaged/ faulty items as they and they must be returned with no further damage and in the original packaging. This is both the box they came in and the box they were sent in filled with the protective packaging.

v. we will send out a replacement item to you as soon as possible. If instead you would like a refund, we will refund the full cost of your order including postage, if applicable, once we receive the returned damaged or faulty item.

c. Unwanted items

If you decide you would like to return your item/s:

i. contact us by email at info@seafieldhouseinteriors.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order. You must email and you will be sent a returns approval code and return instructions. Please note, some orders will need to be returned directly to suppliers so please do not send them until you receive approval and instructions of where to return the item/s

ii. we must then receive your returned item/s within 14 days of your return approval date for a return.

iii. please look after your unwanted item/s once you have decided to return them, they must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging. Please also note, if the packaging is not in the same condition or the item is damaged in any way upon its return then there may be a slight reduction in your refund.

iv. you are responsible for the cost of returning your items. We recommend using a tracked and insured returns service, as we are not responsible for lost returns.

v. once we have received your return, we will process your refund. We will be unable to process your return if unwanted items are returned to us damaged. Unfortunately, we will not refund shipping costs for unwanted items.

Please note, refunds will normally show in your account within 3-5 days but sometimes can take longer especially when paying via PayPal.

Please additionally note that we will not accept the return of any damaged or incorrectly supplied products where you fail to notify us of this within fourteen days of receiving them.

12 Cancellation of your Order by Us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

a. we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;

b. one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.

c. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.
